World Tallest Buildings

1. Burj Khalifa Bin Zayed Dubai:-
A number of huge projects were decided in 2000’s skyscraper race, next is largest than the last. Burj Khalifa Bin Zayed comes on 1st number in top ten races. A famous Burj Khalifa Bin Zayed is also called Burj Dubai. This skyscraper built from 2004 to 2010 at the cost of $4,100,000,000.

2. Freedom Tower (New York):-
Freedom Tower would be the most popular building of this era. Freedom Tower comes on 2nd number in skyscraper races have 0.541 km height with 82 stories. In 2013 it will be completed after 12 year of 9/11. This $2,000,000,000 cost project designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. The base of the tower will be 186-feet tall and top of the tower will be 145-feet by 145-feet.

3 . Chicago Spire United State:-
Chicago Spire comes on 3rd number in top ten skyscraper races. Santaigo Calatrava designed this skyscraper have 150 stories with six hundred and ten meters height. The building structure is with emergency stairs, due to the 9/11 attacks in New York. The spire is expected to have up to eleven hundred and ninety three residences. Water from the Chicago River will be used in the building’s cooling system.

4.John Hancock Center
John Hancock Center skyscraper comes on 4th number in top ten races with hundred stories. Designed by renowned architects Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, with chief designer Bruce Graham in 1970.John Hancock Center has won numerous awards for its innovative and iconic style, including the Distinguished Architects 25-Year Award from the American Institute of Architects.

5. Dubai Mall (UAE):-
Dubai mall comes on 5th number in top ten popular buildings. Dubai mall is a monster mall, having 14000 just car parking area. It has 120-160 restaurants, cafes, and other food and beverage shops, nearly 3000 people enjoy with them same time. Dubai mall also have a large aquarium and underwater zoo.

6. Hydropolis Dubai (UAE):-
Hydropolis Dubai comes on 6th number in top ten popular buildings. Now a day’s Dubai comes on 1st number in amazing, surprising, impressive buildings. It’s not wrong to say this is The Age of Dubai. Currently under construction in Dubai, Hydropolis will be the world’s first luxury underwater hotel. The hotel will consist three major parts : the land station, the connecting tunnel and the 220 suites. It is one of the largest contemporary construction projects in the world, covering an area of 260 hectares. Its architect and designer is Joachim Hauser.

7. Willis Tower (U.S):
Willis Tower comes on 7th number in skyscraper top ten races. Willis Tower height is 1450 feet with one hundred stories. This building designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, completed in 1973. The building was renamed Willis Tower in July 2009.

8. Trump International Hotel and Tower:-
Trump International Hotel and Tower comes on 8th number in top ten skyscraper races. This ninety eight story Tower designed by architect Adrian Smith of Skidmore, Owings and Merrill. This five star hotel has three hundred and thirty nine rooms.

 9. Flatiron Building (US):-
Flatiron building comes on 9th number in top ten skyscraper list. It is called flatiron building due to its elongated triangular shape. Originally its name was Fuller building because he was financed its construction in 1902. Its renovation ended in 1991.

10. World Trade Center(New York):-
World Trade Center comes on 10th number in top ten skyscraper races. It was destroyed in the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. Basically one hundred and ten story World Trade Center was designed by Minoru Yamasaki in 1960. After terrorist attack the new building at the site was 7 World Trade Center, which opened in May 2006.
