A motorcycle, is a single-track, two-wheeled motor vehicle. Motorcycles vary very much depending on the task for which they are planned, such as long distance travel, navigating crowded urban traffic, cruising, sport and racing, or off-road conditions. Motorcycles are one of the most affordable forms of motorised transport in many parts of the world and, for most of the world's people, they are also the most general type of motor vehicle. Here are about 200 million motorcycles in use worldwide, or around 33 motorcycles per 1000 people. This compares to about 590 million cars, or around 91 per 1000 people.
